Eason Jordan is a former Chief News Executive of CNN. At a conference, Davos, in 2005 Jordan made a claim in a closed discussion that US forces in Iraq were targeting and killing journalists.
Jordan claimed that he knew of 12 journalists who had been deliberately killed by by US troops. After this conference a blogger picked up on what Jordan had said and wrote about it on his blog. This blog was picked up on by many other bloggers, who looked into these claims.
After alot of press attention Jordan resigned from his position at CNN.
